Hydro Excavator Operator

This is a full-time role for a Hydro Excavator Driver/Operator based at our depot in Cambridge and servicing the Waikato Region and surrounding areas.

Hydro Excavation is a physical job involving outdoor work in a number of industries, including the Industrial, Construction and Civil and Commercial Sectors. It includes Truck Driving and Water Blaster Operation and a Remote Controlled boom, and you need to be comfortable with dealing with some Mud. Heavy lifting is required at times and it can be challenging and involve thinking outside the square to complete tasks in a safe, timely and professional manner.

Having current truck driving and hydro excavation operation experience will be beneficial, but we are willing to provide training for the successful applicants.

The role is based in Cambridge – servicing the Waikato Region and surrounding areas. At times some work will require staying away overnight for the likes of Taupo and Bay of Plenty. All expenses are covered including accommodation and a meal allowance.

Job Requirements:

• Class 2 Required
• Class 4 or 5 Preferred
• DG Endorsement will be needed – but we are willing to cover this for successful applicants.

We’re a growing family business based in the Waikato that has been operating since the 1990’s.    CST Group was formed in last 2019 as an amalgamation of Cambridge Septic Tank Services and Waikato Water & Cartage with an expansion and new division CST Industrial.

We operate three divisions within CST Group – CST Water, CST Septic and CST Industrial.
